Join us at one of our upcoming events!
The BC Cochlear Implant Support Group hosts welcoming events that help bring the community together to learn, connect, and support.
From casual meetups and educational sessions to guest speakers and community gatherings, our events create opportunities to share experiences, build confidence, and stay informed about cochlear implants and hearing technology. We also promote other events and resources that may benefit the cochlear implant and hearing loss community across British Columbia.
Have an event idea? Contact us and we can work together to support you in hosting an event, big or small.
Note: Some locations are not publicly listed as events are hosted in members’ private homes.
We meet in person on Saturdays, with a remote option. The first hour covers cochlear implant technology and services, followed by hands-on support with accessories, apps, and connectivity.
We meet every fourth Wednesday of the month from 6 PM to 7 PM with a specific topic and a guest presenter, followed by open Q&A.
We meet in a small group of 8 to 10 people, hosted by a local ambassador, share experiences and ask questions in a casual setting.
An annual fair where we celebrate World Hearing Day and learn how hearing affects healthy aging, how to protect our hearing, and what resources are available.
A joyful annual holiday celebration with a potluck buffet, holiday sweater contest, festive games and trivia, music, karaoke, and plenty of holiday cheer.
